Please read in entirety for our updated review: INITIAL REVIEW: My husband & I have been working with Sophie Raven Immigration for over 3 years to get my green card (immigrating from Canada) & we still have nothing to show for it. Before we signed the retainer in March 2022, she was helpful & answered all our questions. She made submitting the paperwork easy & smooth. However, once we paid our second payment, we started to notice that her communication was awful. There have been many times where we’ve heard nothing for MONTHS even after reaching out multiple times with questions or concerns. She rarely turns on her out of office email response & has excuses for why she was not answering, claiming that her team “missed” our emails. While we have tried to be understanding & patient, this has been extremely frustrating for us & we are highly concerned that we’ve wasted thousands of dollars & YEARS of our time on these services. We have several friends who applied for their green cards after us in similar processes and have their interview dates & yet we’re still waiting for ours. If you’re looking for a lawyer to truly assist & guide you through this ENTIRE process & someone who is aligned with their clients, we would recommend looking elsewhere. UPDATE: On July 11 we finally received notice that our interview would be on September 16 in Montreal. Green card was approved on the spot & we truly believe this is all thanks to Sophie's expertise and preparation. The day before the interview she suggested that we bring a few extra items just in case, and they were helpful & necessary to have on hand. While this process has been daunting and frustrating, we can no longer say that we doubt Sophie's services. This is a weird time in the US, and with the current political climate, it was comforting to have someone who knew the process well. We also filed on the end of Covid-19 when there were all kinds of back ups, so we understand that they delays were unprecedented and out of her control. After leaving the previous negative review, we absolutely noticed an improvement in communication as well. We're happy with our experience with Sophie Raven Immigration and would recommend her if you are beginning this process.
